Summer 2023 Somali Gospel Outreach Highlights

“Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well.” John 14:6-7

Many, like Thomas, follow Jesus yet still wrestle with the way of salvation. Jesus’ answer remains the same: knowing Him is knowing the Father, and He alone is the way to everlasting life. Thousands of Somali Muslims in Columbus try to earn God’s favor through good works yet remain uncertain about salvation. COLIM carries the Good News that Jesus died for their sins and prepared the way to eternal life. Some find it hard to accept His substitutionary death, but many are studying Scripture and the catechism, moving toward baptism. We praise God for four additional Somali brothers now following Jesus as the only way to heaven.
